Private Generations

With an Ideogram Plus plan or higher, you can generate images privately. When an image is marked as private, only you can see it. Any privately generated images will remain private even after your subscription ends. You will still have access to them, but you will only be able to download them in JPG format unless you resubscribe to a Plus plan or higher.

Generating private images

You can choose whether you want your generation to be private or public by using the Visibility toggle in the Prompt box.

Viewing your private generations

To view your private generations, select Creations on the left-side panel and then select the Private tab.

Alternatively, navigate to your profile page using the Profile button at the bottom of the left-side panel, select View profile and click on the Private tab on the profile page.

Changing the visibility of images

To make a private image public or a public image private, you can:

1. When viewing an image in detail, use the Public/Private toggle button located in the right-side panel.

2. While browsing or viewing an image in detail, click the More icon and select Make private or Make public from the popup menu.
3. To update multiple images from the Creations page or your profile page, select the images, click the More icon in the bottom panel, and choose Make private or Make public from the popup menu.
