Color Palette

Available to all users, the Color palette function allows you to set the overall color scheme for your image generation. Think of this function more as a way to influence the outcome rather than as a precise tool for achieving exact color matching. When used in conjunction with detailed color descriptions in your prompts, this function can produce stunning and color-consistent images.

To access the Color palette popup menu, click or tap the prompt box to reveal the options at the bottom, then click the sixth tab to open a popup menu with the available choices.

Examples

Here are a few examples of how applying a color palette might affect the outcome of a prompt:

Prompt: A photo of the moon rising above the tree line near a lake at night. The moon is partially obscured by clouds. A wooden cabin is located near the lakeshore. The lake is calm, reflecting the sky and the trees. The ground is covered with pine needles. The background contains mountains.

Custom color palette

Users with a Plus or Pro subscription can create their own custom color palette. To do so, simply go to the bottom of the color palette menu and select "Custom." You can then enter up to five colors to use in your custom palette.

You can choose a color using the convenient color selector, by entering the hexadecimal RGB values below it or directly below the custom color palette. Make sure to place a “#” in front of each hexadecimal number and separate them with a space.

Using the Color Palette not only affects the overall color but also impacts the visual aspect and composition of the generated image. Here’s a good example:
