When you generate images with Ideogram, you can choose between different models. To select a particular model, simply click or tap on the desired version number. If the options doesn’t appear, ensure that you have clicked the "Down arrow" icon at the bottom of the settings to expand the settings area. The version in use will then be highlighted, like version 2.0 as seen below.
You can change the version by clicking the "Model" button and select the desired version.
The latest version, released on August 21st 2024.
The third version, released on February 28th 2024.
The second version, released on November 2, 2023, was retired in January 2025 and is no longer available.
The first version of Ideogram, launched on August 29, 2023, has been retired and is no longer available.
