Styles in Older Models
Older Ideogram models (versions 1.0, 2.0, and 2a) use styles differently from Model 3.0. This page explains how Style work in these earlier models and how they affect your prompts.
Styles in Version 2.0 and 2a
To access the Style options:
Click or tap inside the Prompt Box to reveal the option bar (if not already visible).
Select Style to open the dropdown.
The examples below compare the Style options available in versions 2.0/2a and 1.0 as they vary depending on the model you select

The styles available in version 2.0 and 2a are specialized AI models and do not add any extra text to your prompt, unlike styles in version 1.0.
Here are the available styles:
Auto, General, Realistic and Design are just like their counterparts in Version 3.0.
3D – Generates characters, objects, and other creations with a 3D visual look.
Anime – Creates images and characters inspired by anime-style artwork.
Example Styles in 2.0
Here are some examples of the 2.0 styles.

Styles in Version 1.0
In version 1.0, using a style adds the corresponding keywords to the end of your prompt just before the image is generated. This helps the AI understand the type of image you want.
Select a Style to apply it. You can select and apply multiple Styles at once.
