# Discord

Ideogram has an official Discord server where you can connect with other creators, share your work, ask questions, and talk directly with the Ideogram team.

Whether you're just getting started or a long-time user, the server is a great place to get help, stay up to date, and be part of the Ideogram community.

## Joining the Server

To join, visit [**discord.gg/ideogram**](https://discord.gg/ideogram) and connect with your Discord account. No invitation is required — the server is open to everyone.

If you don't have a Discord account yet, you can create one for free at [discord.com](https://discord.com).

## Finding Your Way Around

The server's **start-here** channel explains what each channel is for, where to post, and where to go for support. The main areas:

* **Rules** — read these first; they keep the server safe for everyone.
* **Announcements** — product updates and community news, tagged so you can spot what you care about.
* **Status** — service-status announcements, so you always know where to check.
* **General chat** — the heart of the server. Say hi, ask quick questions, and talk about AI image generation, creativity, or anything else (rules in mind, of course).
* **Creations** — the place to post your work. Prompts, settings, workflows, and "how'd you make this?" questions are all welcome.
* **Support** — bugs, questions, and API issues. Ideogram staff are ready to help, and community members help each other out too.
* **Ideas** — suggestions for Ideogram. Good ideas deserve more visibility than a single support ticket, so chime in on each other's ideas.

## Getting Help

* Search these docs first — many questions are already answered here.
* Post other support questions in the server's support channel, and include a **generation link** when relevant so the team can look into your issue faster.
